Get set for any adventure with the Panasonic G85 and 12-60mm f/3.5-5.6 Lens kit. This portable, weather sealed camera/lens combination excels at both stills and video, combining a high-performance Venus Engine and 16MP Live MOS sensor with no low-pass filter to produce lifelike image detail, clarity, contrast and colour. The kit lens’ 24-120mm equivalent focal length lends itself to many shooting situations, from grand landscapes right through to intimate portraits.
As any good photographer or videographer knows, good camera design paves the way for better photos and videos. Steady, comfortable one-handed shooting comes easily thanks to the LUMIX G85’s ergonomically designed grip. Effortlessly compose/review your shots and adjust your settings with the 3.0”, 1.04 million-dot touchscreen LCD, which can be freely angled to facilitate shooting from high and low viewpoints.
Featuring a 0.74x (35mm equivalent) magnification ratio, 2.36 million-dot resolution and approx. 100% colour reproduction, the Panasonic G85’s Live View Finder provides the high visibility you need to capture each shot as you see it. Not only that, but its intelligent eye sensor also contributes to the Panasonic G85’s long battery life. When the sensor detects that your eye has moved away the camera goes into Sleep mode, ready to reactivate with a half press of the shutter.
Employing a sophisticated gyrosensor and improved algorithm, 5-axis Image Stabilisation (I.S.) in the LUMIX G85 body helps to deliver sharper, clearer photos and video in both challenging light and fast-moving scenarios. When paired with the LUMIX G 12-60mm f/3.5-5.6 kit lens (or other O.I.S. enabled lens) the G85 offers 5-axis Dual Image Stabilisation, counteracting hand shake by a remarkable 5 f-stops.
With 4K technology, it’s easier than ever to capture that perfect, fleeting moment. 4K video lets you vividly record moments or events in action with up to four times the resolution of Full High Definition. Meanwhile, the Panasonic G85’s 4K PHOTO feature enables you to shoot a video sequence at 30 fps then select and save your favourite frame as an individual, high-resolution photo.
The LUMIX G85 has the speed you need to catch even the fastest paced action. DFD (Depth From Defocus) technology provides incredibly quick and accurate autofocus, enabling burst speeds of up to 40 fps (frames per second)*. Compatibility with UHS-II SDXC/SDHC memory cards lets you get the most out of this performance, and expanded buffer memory allows you to continuously shoot as many as 300 JPEG or 45 RAW images non-stop.
*9 fps with a mechanical shutter in AFS mode or 6 fps in AFC mode
Discover a level of creative freedom unique to LUMIX cameras. With Panasonic’s amazing Post Focus feature, you can take a photo then reposition its focus point with a tap of your finger. And with Focus Stacking, you can make multiple areas of your image in focus, even after the shot’s been taken—ideal for when you want to expand your depth of field, e.g. with macro photography.
The Panasonic G85 offers yet more focusing flexibility with its Focus Bracket and Aperture Bracket functions, which let you take multiple bracketed shots with different focus points or depth of field.

a) When using an SDHC memory card: If the file exceeds 4 GB
b) When using an SDXC memory card: If the continuous recording time exceeds 3 hrs 4 min or if the file exceeds 96GB. In either case, the camera will display the maximum available continuous recording time onscreen.
