The Nikon Z50 II combines a 20.9MP DX-format CMOS sensor with the powerful EXPEED 7 image processor for detailed images, smooth colour transitions and reduced noise. Its ISO range of 100–51200 can be expanded up to ISO 204800 for challenging low-light conditions, while continuous shooting reaches up to 30 fps.

Advanced Autofocus with Subject Detection

Powered by technology inherited from the Nikon Z9, the Z50 II uses deep learning and Subject Detection to recognise and track nine different subject types. Eye-Detection AF and dedicated Bird Detection help maintain sharp focus on moving subjects.

Pre-Release Capture

Capture moments just before you press the shutter with Pre-Release Capture. The camera begins recording frames when the shutter is half-pressed, helping you capture decisive moments that might otherwise be missed.

UHD 4K Video Recording

Record UHD 4K video at up to 60 fps and Full HD at up to 120 fps. Additional features include Product Review mode, up to two hours of recording, video self-timer, electronic Vibration Reduction and HDMI output for external recording.

Live Streaming & 10-Bit Video

The Z50 II supports UAC and UAV standards for live web streaming and can record 10-bit video internally with Nikon N-Log LUT. Four new RED LUTs are also supported for creative colour grading.

Creative Colour Control

A dedicated Picture Control button provides quick access to 31 built-in presets, which can be previewed directly on the LCD. Creator Recipes from other Nikon photographers can also be downloaded through Nikon Imaging Cloud and added to your camera.
