Studio Quality Interface

The Rode AI-1 is a studio-quality audio interface well suited for recording vocals, instruments, and voice-overs into your Mac or Windows computer. The interface features a single, combo XLR-1/4" input with phantom power, two balanced 1/4" monitor outputs, and a single, discrete, studio-quality headphone output and level control. The device can operate in zero-latency monitoring mode, which connects the preamp directly to the headphone output for delay-free performance while recording. With the headphone input engaged, the two monitor outputs are bypassed. To engage the monitor outputs, simply remove the headphone plug from the jack and start creating better music at home.

Easy to Use, Superb Sound

Setting up the Rode AI-1 is as easy as plugging in, adjusting levels, and going. It has a Neutrik combi-jack which takes both XLR and 1/4-inch cables, so you can connect your microphone, guitar, bass, or synthesizer with ease. Layering tracks is also as easy- just plug in, set the level, and go. Combined with the NT1, the AI-1 provides an amazing audio quality at par with sophisticated studio equipment.

Durable Design

The rugged aluminum body is finished with a satin black finish and features large rubber feet, which prevent the desktop interface from sliding about when engaged. The class-compliant Rode AI-1 requires no drivers and features a USB-C connector, which not only connects to your computer but also provides power as well—the Rode AI-1 ships with a USB cable and a license for Ableton Live Lite.

Zero-Latency Monitoring

Thanks to the discrete studio-quality headphone output and level control, the sound that comes from the Rode AI-1 is always clear and focused. Audio playback with Rode AI-1 is also easy with a single-level control and switchable zero-latency monitoring to remove echo while tracking vocals or instruments.
