Rode's M3 Versatile End-Address Condenser Microphone is a versatile piece of equipment that is suitable for use in various settings such as the studio, on stage, or on location. The microphone is built with a heavy-duty metal body and an internally shock mounted 0.5" condenser capsule. It can be powered with 24V or 48V phantom power or an internal 9V battery.
Moreover, the microphone's -10 dB and -20 dB level attenuator pad can be selected from within the battery compartment, making it easier to record loud sources like a snare drum or guitar amplifier. Additionally, a selectable high-pass filter is built into the microphone power switch that introduces a filter at 80 Hz, helping to reduce low-frequency sounds and handling noise. Along with the microphone, Rode provides a windshield, a mic clip, and a zip pouch.
