Take your aerial photography and video to cinematic levels with the DJI Mavic 2 Pro. Developed over two years in conjunction with iconic camera-maker Hasselblad, its new LD1D-20c camera boasts a 20MP 1” CMOS sensor four times larger than the original Mavic Pro’s, an adjustable f/2.8-11 aperture for greater creative control and flexibility in varying lighting conditions, and a 3-axis gimbal for smooth and stable footage. Anticipate professional quality photos and video of outstanding detail, colour and clarity, even in low light.
The camera supports the 10 bit Dlog-M colour profile, which provides more than a billion colours and high dynamic range for greater flexibility in grading. It also supports the H.265/HEVC codec, which preserves 50% more detail than H.264/AVC for significantly higher quality 4K footage. Plug the Mavic 2 Pro into a 4K TV with HLG and it will immediately play back video with the correct colour tones, including deeper contrast and brighter highlights.
Compact and foldable, the Mavic 2 Pro employs a low-drag, aerodynamic design to reach speeds of up to 72km/h; a four-cell lithium polymer battery to fly for up to 31 minutes; and low-noise propellers to film distraction-free video. Sensors on all sides help the drone to detect and actively avoid obstacles in front, behind, above, below, and (in ActiveTrack or Tripod Mode) to the left and right, keeping it safe and your video footage flawless. Want your Mavic 2 Pro to fly the same route more than once? Task Library allows you to save flight paths to record the same scene at different times of day.
OcuSync 2.0 transmits live, unobstructed 1080p video feeds to your controller from up to 8km away. This new system helps to maintain stable streaming with 2.4/5.8 GHz real-time auto switching, a download speed of 40 MB/s and low latency (down to 120ms). Edit and share your videos from the cache without having to download content from the drone—or save your photos automatically to a mobile device.
The earlier ActiveTrack system mainly relied on 2D images from the main camera. By contrast, ActiveTrack 2.0 deploys both the Mavic 2 Pro’s main camera and forward dual vision sensors to map the surroundings in 3D, enabling the drone to precisely detect and track a subject—even while it’s temporarily obscured, or moving at up to 72km/h in open space—and avoid obstacles at the same time.
Capture and automatically process time-lapse photos with a single tap, and simultaneously save both JPEG and RAW files to micro SD (not included) using the Mavic 2’s unique Hyperlapse feature. Choose from four different Hyperlapse modes including Free, Circle, CourseLock and WayPoint.

The only difference between the Mavic 2 Pro and Zoom is their respective gimbal cameras. However, it’s possible to have DJI replace your gimbal camera with the other version. Please see their website for more details.
18 km in extreme testing environments measured in 50.4 km/h windless conditions down to 0% battery. Be sure to reserve sufficient battery for a safe return.
The Mavic 2 Pro's rotor system is optimised for forward flight rather than hovering. The drone’s maximum hovering time is 29 minutes in windless conditions, while its maximum flight time can be up to 31 minutes (flying at a constant speed) in windless conditions.
The Mavic 2 Pro can resist up to level 5 winds on the Beaufort scale.
Yes, the Mavic 2 Pro is compatible with both DJI Goggles and DJI Goggles RE; they connect with the drone wirelessly via OcuSync 2.0.
Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing doesn’t fully cover a 360-degree arc, and its left/right obstacle sensing system works only in certain modes and environments. DJI warranty does not cover losses caused by crashing while flying left/right.
It takes around 1.5 hours to fully charge a battery.
Mobile phones measuring 6.5-8.5 mm thick and up to 160 mm long will comfortably fit in the remote controller clamps. DJI strongly recommends that you remove the protective cover before attaching your mobile phone. For tablets exceeding this measurement range, DJI recommends the DJI Mavic 2 Tablet Holder.
