Remote control transmitters and receivers give photographers the freedom to trigger cameras and flash units from distance. Wireless remote control products available at CameraPro include shutter releases and flash triggers. We also carry wired shutter release cables for shake-free long exposure photography.

Wireless remote control for your camera is achieved by infrared communication or radio waves. Infrared remote control devices work well if the transmitter and receiver are within view of each other. The remote control units allow you to operate the shutter from a distance of up to 5 metres away, depending on the specific model you choose.

For remote shooting over longer distances, and for remote operation of equipment through walls or around corners you’ll need remote control transmitters and receivers that communicate by radio waves rather than infrared.
