The PodMic also has a built-in shock mount that isolates the microphone to avoid handling noise and vibrations. This often happens when adjusting the mic or when it bumps into a table. The built-in swing mount also holds the mic away, which insulates it from the low-frequency sound that can ruin your broadcast.
