Record directly to the Sony a7SIII with the breathtaking realism afforded by the 10-bit depth and 4:2:2 colour sampling. This provides incredible flexibility when it comes to grading and post-processing. The camera can also record 16-bit RAW via HDMI to an external recorder for more demanding projects. Inherited from pro camcorders, S-Log3 gamma and S-Gamut3.Cine colour gamut offer broader dynamic range and easier colour matching, while HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) makes it easy to produce HDR footage. There’s also the option of All-Intra encoding, which encodes each frame independently at up to 600Mbps to more accurately capture complex motions and streamline workflows.

5-axis Image Stabilisation Plus Unlimited Recording

The a7SIII from Sony makes no compromises on stability or recording time. 5-axis optical in-body image stabilisation (IBIS) with the new Active Mode reduces camera shake by a decisive 5.5 steps while preserving image quality. This means you’ll be able to capture smooth, stable footage – even while walking or shooting handheld, and even without a gimbal. A unique heatsink built into the camera’s IBIS unit improves heat dissipation by 5x, enabling no recording time limits in all video modes and 4K 60p recording for more than one hour.
