An outstanding ISO range of 50-819,200 ensures that even in low light, you’ll get crisp, clean details.

AF (autofocus) and tracking in the Canon 1DX Mark III simplify the most difficult shots. Employing deep learning tech, the Canon 1D X III’s AF system is brilliantly precise in a wide range of lighting and shooting scenarios, from fast-paced surf photography to twilight portraits of elusive wildlife. Covering around 90x100% of the sensor with 3869 AF points and 525 AF areas, Dual Pixel CMOS AF (available in live view and 4K/RAW mod video) ensures crisply focused stills and footage.

5.5K RAW Video Recording

Make moments come alive with breathtakingly detailed 5.5K 60p and crop-free 4K 60p video. The first non-cinema Canon camera to offer RAW recording (12-bit internal), the Canon 1DX Mark III captures a superior expanse of colours and tones with which you can realize any vision. Recording in 10-bit 4:2:2, Canon Log Gamma provides even more creative freedom in post-production, while video recording in an MP4 container lets you transmit files fast. Movie Digital IS provides 5-axis stabilisation to ensure smooth, sharply focused footage on the move.

20 fps Shooting with AF/AE

The Canon EOS 1DX Mark III makes missed opportunities a thing of the past. It can shoot up to 16 fps through the viewfinder or 20 fps in live view with no shutter sound. Better still, it does so with full autofocus and autoexposure tracking to ensure your subject stays in focus. Dual CFexpress card slots give the camera a remarkable buffer capacity of 1000 RAW images, so you can count on it always keeping up with the action.

Intuitive & Reliable Operability

The Canon 1DX Mark III is designed to deliver the best results possible, no matter the conditions. There’s a smart controller optical device integrated into the AF-on button, allowing you to quickly adjust AF points/selection without releasing the AF-ON button. The high-definition, 3.15” touchscreen allows for simple, intuitive settings adjustments and image playback. Illuminated buttons facilitate operation in dim lighting, and the bright viewfinder provides sharp, lag-free visibility. The camera’s power efficiency gives you an incredible 2850 shots per charge of the LP-E19 battery, and its highly durable, weatherproof body permits shooting in virtually any environment.

Superior Connectivity

Superior connectivity ensures fast, reliable transfer of your files – a must for many pros and a big advantage for shooters who travel. Built-in Wi-Fi and Low Energy Bluetooth enable easy file backup/sharing via FTP, EOS Utility, or smart device, while a built-in gigabit ethernet or optional wireless file transmitter permits faster data transfer compared to the 1DX II.
