The WS8 stands as a high-performance windscreen, compatible with all RØDE small-diaphragm condenser microphones, often referred to as 'pencil mics'. Meticulously crafted to excel in blustery recording settings, the WS8 integrates an open-cell foam enclosure ensconced by an acoustically transparent synthetic fur exterior. To further thwart any intrusive wind noise from infiltrating the microphone's rear pickup area, a rubber base is also incorporated.

The WS8 Deluxe Windshield from Rode Microphone is an easy-to-use high-performance windshield for microphones of 0.79” (20mm) diameter and 1.06” (27mm) capsule depth. It is designed for use with the NT5, NT55, and NT6 small diaphragm condenser microphones.
