Classed as a 'normal' lens of 53mm equivalent in 35mm format, the Fujifilm 35mm f/1.4 XF R lens has the same aspect ratio as a standard eye view. With 8 elements in a 6 group lens construction, the aspheric and extra-low dispersion elements in this XF lens combats field curvature and chromatic aberration to give your images clarity without distraction. Creating edge-to-edge sharpness, even as low as f/5.6, the elements work against unwanted aberrations such as fringing and ghosting that can cast strange shadows and hues across your images.

Shoot in any light conditions

Bringing a natural depth to your images, the f/1.4 maximum aperture will allow you to shoot in any light. Ideal in low-light situations, you’ll be able to work on portraiture in dim and soft light and create pleasing out-of-focus backgrounds.

Up-close magnification

With a magnification of 0.17x times, you can achieve close-up precision even if you’re far away. You’ll be able to zoom in on your subjects at a distance while still capturing all the detail in the frame. This is great for when you’re shooting wildlife or capturing intimate moments at an event.

Accurate autofocus
