Ergonomic Design with Integrated Arca-Type Clamp

This Manfrotto XPro Ball Head includes an integrated Arca-type clamp and an MSQ6PL Quick Release Plate. This is compatible with Arca-type quick release plates such as the MSQ6PL that can be attached or removed from the Arca-type clamp found at the top of the ball-and-socket joint by tightening or loosening the clamp’s locking knob. Within the recessed surface between the clamp’s jaws is a retaining pin. This pin prevents an installed quick release plate from accidentally sliding off when the clamp is opened.

Shake-Free Shot Every Time

By loosening this XPro Magnesium Ball Head’s primary locking knob, its ball-and-socket joint can be easily swiveled, angled, fully tilted, or returned to its upright position. Toward the ball head’s base is a secondary locking knob that controls the ability to rotate the head 360 degrees. The Manfrotto XPro Ball Head also has an additional knob (opposite the secondary locking knob) that can be rotated to apply tension control to the ball-and-socket joint’s movements. And with the compatible Arca-type plates, you can quickly set up your cameras on a tripod for a more stable and shake-free shot every time you shoot with this tripod head.

A safety mechanism is released when the plate engages with the clamp, which prevents your equipment from falling and becoming damaged. With two levelling bubbles, you can make quick adjustments with the locking knobs open, and keep your camera perfectly balanced with the friction control.
