Hoya 58mm Pro ND1000 Filter Overview
The Hoya PROND1000 is a neutral density filter with a 10-stop light reduction, equivalent to an ND optical density of 3.0. Designed for still photography and HDSLR video, the PROND series offers 10 filters ranging from one to 10 stops, all featuring Hoya’s ACCU-ND technology for true neutral color balance without noticeable color casts. The metallic ACCU-ND coating ensures consistent color accuracy across different densities, allowing you to set white balance once without worrying about shifts when changing filters. Made with Hoya’s exclusive clear optical glass and coated on both sides, these filters reduce light entering the lens without altering image quality, enabling creative effects like wider apertures or slower shutter speeds in bright lighting conditions.
