The LUMIX BS1H is a versatile box camera that features the cinema-quality video performance of the LUMIX S1H in an easy-to-deploy profile. 24.2MP 35mm full-frame CMOS sensor with Dual Native ISO technology to capture 6K resolution at maximum ISO 51200. Maximizing the use of the pixels in the full-frame image sensor, the LUMIX BS1H is capable of 6K/24p, 5.4K/30p (3:2) or 5.9K/30p (16:9) recording.

Box-Style Live & Cinema Full-frame Camera

A full-frame sensor and 6K 24p video recording performance condensed in a surprisingly compact box style for everything from live streaming to multi-camera control and shooting using a gimbal or drone. A device that will innovate the video production workflow.
 

To support live streaming, the LUMIX BS1H provides an IP streaming function over ethernet that enables high-quality image transmission to a PC on a wired network that can then be live-streamed to the preferred social platform using PC software. Notably, the LUMIX BS1H can transmit 4K 60p (50p) video in H.265. H.265 is highly efficient, requiring half the bitrate when transmitting video with the same image quality as H.264, thus providing 2x higher image quality when transmitting at the same bitrate as H.264. Transmitting video in ultra-high definition
4K at low bitrates is possible even in low bandwidth situations.

24.2MP full-frame sensor with Dual Native ISO technology

The 24.2-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor delivers high sensitivity and top image quality in both still photos and videos. Dual Native ISO technology further enhances video performance.

6K video recording performance and multiple recording modes

Equipped with 6K 24p 4:2:0 10-bit (3:2) and 5.9K 30p/25p/24p 4:2:0 10-bit in addition to C4K/4K 60p/50p* 4:2:0 10-bit, C4K/4K 30p/25p/24p 4:2:2 10-bit and anamorphic 4K recording. Meets the diverse video production needs of professionals with a wide array of recording modes.
 
The LUMIX BS1H is capable of 4:2:2 10-bit 4K 60p/50p HDMI output. With a highly efficient heat dispersion structure, it can deliver unlimited video recording in a variety of recording formats, including 4:3 Anamorphic mode, to meet professional requirements for long-form shooting.

Heat management = unlimited recording

The LUMIX BS1H realizes unlimited video recording in all modes. The rise in the camera’s temperature can be suppressed with the cooling fan and can be used for an unlimited time within the guaranteed operating temperature range.
