Superbly portable yet powerful, the Fujifilm X-T30 is capable enough to satisfy professionals yet compact and intuitive enough to appeal to new shooters.
Featuring the same fourth generation, back illuminated 26.1MP APS-C sensor as the Fujifilm X-T3, the X-T30 takes Fujifilm’s legendary picture quality to new heights. A native sensitivity of ISO 160 to 12800 (available when shooting RAW and extendable to ISO 80-51200) ensures low light scenes—from concerts to night-time snapshots—can be captured with minimal noise.
Like different film stocks, 16 different Film Simulation modes (applicable to both photos and video) offer a choice of rich colours and tones to perfectly reflect your creative intent.
Ensure your subject is tack-sharp thanks to the most advanced autofocus system in an X Series camera yet. The Fujifilm X-T30’s fourth generation image processor—combined with improved AF algorithms, increased low light performance and almost 100% phase detection coverage—enables frame-wide, high-speed and -precision AF tracking in both stills and video. With enhanced face/eye AF (and a new Face Select option that prioritises focus on a selected subject) it’s easier than ever to capture crisp portraits, even when there’s multiple people in the scene.
Thanks to the X-T30’s 2.36 million-dot OLED electronic viewfinder and blackout-free burst rate of up to 30fps, every photo opportunity is yours to seize. Quickly and precisely track sports, wildlife or other fast-moving action using Sports Finder mode, which highlights a 16.6MP portion of the sensor so you can detect moving subjects before or after they’ve entered the image frame.
The X-T30 records video in 6K to create outstanding quality footage in 4K/30p. You can also record high res audio without the need for additional equipment, and film in DCI format (17:9) for an even greater cinematic effect. F-Log recording and 4:2:2 10bit output via the HDMI port are also supported, helping advanced videographers produce professional results.
While the X-T30 retains the X-T Series’ trademark classic styling and build quality, its design been improved over the X-T20’s to make shooting even more enjoyable. Extra grip space at the rear provides a better, more comfortable hold while shooting, regardless of what lens you’re using. A new 8-way joystick or slimmer, more responsive touchscreen make it quick and easy to adjust settings. Take control using a variety of manual shooting modes or select Advanced SR Auto mode to let the camera choose the optimum settings for your shot, so you can concentrate on composing the image or interacting with your subject/s.
