Universally used tripod mount

The arca-type compatible ball head is one of most universally used mounts for tripod heads which can be used with a variety of accessories, such as the PeakDesign CapturePro. The ultra-smooth WS2 ball coating makes it easy to adjust. The ball head is small enough to fit in between the folded legs, so it packs away nice and neatly. Taking up to 10kg and compatible with a variety of accessories, you’ll be able to attach just about any camera to this tripod.

Strong carbon fibre construction

Made with lightweight yet robust eXact carbon tubes, the Gitzo tripod is sturdy and light, making it ideal to travel with. You can hike for longer and go further without your tripod weighing you down. Carbon eXact tubing is made with fine fibres packed into each tube, making this tripod strong while retaining lightness. Much lighter and stronger than aluminium, the magnesium construction complements the carbon fibre strength and lightness.

Lock it into place

The legs are secured in place with the Gitzo G-Lock, so it won’t move an inch when you’re lining up a great shot. You’ll be able to capture epic photos on any surface, whether it’s slippery, sandy, dusty or rocky. You’ll be able to take long exposure shots as the G-lock holds the tripod in place without slipping.

Weather sealing locks

The weather sealing O-ring inside each leg lock means you can put the tripod legs into water and it won’t rust or damage the carbon fibre tubes. It also stops dust and dirt getting into the locks. The tungsten disulfide coating makes cleaning the tubes easier and gives the tripod a smoother surface to adjust.

Reverse-folding extendable legs

Extending to 133cm at full length and folding back to 37cm, this traveller’s tripod will stay steady at a range of adjustable heights. Its thin legs fold back easily with 180-degree leg rotations, so you can easily fold this tripod away tightly and carry it around with you anywhere.
