This Olympus Pro series lens makes it easy to shoot in low light conditions with an f/2.8 aperture. You won’t get unwanted blur in your images, as it can capture a lot of light at all focal lengths. Combine this lens with the OM-D E-M1 or E-M5 Mark II camera which is equipped with 5-axis image stabilisation to give you the best result in low light handheld shooting.
With a combination of Olympus lens elements, this Pro series lens has three super ED lenses, one ED lens, and two EDA lenses. These elements remove chromatic and comatic aberrations that tend to occur around the edges of images, particularly when shooting with a wide-angle lens. The result is amazing optical performance, crucial for those starry nights and for shooting in other unforgiving lighting conditions. You’ll have clear images that bring out next-level professionalism in your shots.
The Zuiko extra-low reflection optical (ZERO) coating thoroughly eliminates ghosting and flares to give your images a sharp finish. By refracting light, the coating balances colour and light that enters the lens to smooth out high transparency aberrations. Even under challenging conditions such as backlit situations, your images will still be clear without distractions.
This Pro series lens covers a range of 14-28mm in 35mm equivalent, giving you the ability to shoot in a range of settings. It’s also constructed to be compact and lightweight, so it won’t weigh you down when you’re travelling or working. You’ll be able to take it with you anywhere and use it for a range of settings, which is great if you’re always on-the-move or already have a lot of gear to carry with you.
This lens is dustproof, splashproof and even freezeproof, so you can take out with you anywhere you go. From dry and dusty settings to humid and rainy situations to the middle of the arctic, the lens will be fully protected with a weatherproof construction that won’t let you down. With hermetic sealing in eleven spots along the lens, it is protected against dust particles and water droplets.

As this lens has no filter thread, to use this lens with the Lee filter system, you’ll need the Lee Filters 100mm Adaptor Ring for Olympus 7-14mm Lens. A minimum 10mm focal length is suggested to avoid vignetting.
This lens does not have a filter thread, so screw-on protector filters can’t be attached. Be sure to put on the lens cap whenever you’re not using the lens to keep it protected and clean. We also suggest keeping this lens in a camera bag or lens pouch when not in use, and this will also help protect the lens from bumps and knocks when travelling.
By pulling the focus ring toward you, the lens instantly switches to the preset focus position.
