The LEE Filters Little Stopper 6 reduces light coming into the lens by six times, thus reducing the exposure time considerably to capture movement across the entire frame. This can create awesome effects with the sky, sun and clouds, as well as people and moving traffic. The Little Stopper will bring forward detail and texture in areas of movement in your shots, conveying a sense of time passing.

The Little Stopper's 1.8 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. This leads to a lot of fun experimentation and a combination of different LEE filter ranges to attain the perfect image you want.

In comparison, the LEE Filters Big Stopper Neutral Density Filter offers 10-stop reduction and greatly blurs anything that is moving in your image, for example, clouds, waterfalls, rivers, and the sea. The Big Stopper filter can also be used on cityscapes to blur people or on roads and motorways to blur traffic

Ideal for low-light conditions at the beginning or end of the day, you’ll be starting and ending your day with some serious creativity. When the Big Stopper would be a bit too much with 10 stops of exposure, the Little Stopper is ideal at dusk or dawn or when there isn’t too much light.
