Vibration Reduction

Nikon VR II vibration reduction of this NIKKOR 16-35mm f 4 is engineered specifically for each Nikon VR lens. The VR II image stabilisation system detects vertical and horizontal movement and neutralises it to eliminate any blur caused by the camera shake. This results in dramatically sharper still images and also enables clarity and stillness in videos in a variety of situations. Image stabilisation is especially helpful in low light situations when slower shutter speeds are required and camera shake becomes more apparent.

With two extra-low dispersion (ED) elements combined with three aspherical lens elements, the Nikkor AF-S 16-35mm f4G ED VR lens offers superior sharpness and colour correction. The 17 lens elements in 12 groups reduce chromatic aberrations such as halo effects and flaring, even at the widest aperture settings. The result is sharp, high-contrast images with minimal distortion.

Anti-Reflective Nano Coating

The nanocrystal coat in this NIKKOR 16-35mm f 4 reduces ghosting and interior flare across a wide range of wavelengths for even greater image clarity. It does this by minimising reflection in its anti-reflective coating. This results in crystal clear images without noise created by dust and scratches. The nano-coating also helps protect the lens from weather-proofing the lens.
