The Panasonic Lumix Leica Vario-Elmar lens frames images tightly with a focal distance of 1.3 metres. Get up close to your subject with 0.5x magnification. Delivering a powerful 240fps, you’ll achieve fast yet silent accuracy in both stills and video recording. The expansive 200-800mm focal length range will enable you to capture those far-away moments every time.
You’ll be able to achieve perfect bokeh using a shallow depth of field, made possible with a rounded nine-blade aperture. Your images will have next level professionalism with unrivalled clarity. Produce sharper images with more depth and clarity with this lens' quality optical design. Unwelcome aberrations and colour fringing will be eliminated to give you clear imagery and improved colour accuracy.
Even with shaky hands, you’ll be able to keep your shots still with the Lumix Leica Vario-Elmar built-in stabilisers. The POWER O.I.S. system minimises camera shake so you can create beautiful handheld shots at longer focal lengths without a tripod. Getting those precious shots will be possible without the unwanted blur that you might only discover later on, once it’s too late.
This lens supports video filming entirely. Its AF capability films 4K video with complete accuracy. It has smooth aperture changes to stop unwanted jumps in exposure, and does not have any distractions against other audio with its silent design.
Moisture and dust resistant with gapless construction, you can take this lens out on adventures in just about any setting without worrying about damage. Whether it’s humidity in a jungle, splash from a waterfall or just the spring air causing dust, your lens will be resistant to varied weather conditions.
Lightweight and compact, this lens is ideal for handheld operation without the need for a tripod to steady the camera and lens. If you prefer to shoot with a tripod for ease of use, the removable rotating tripod collar easily attaches and makes it easy to switch between horizontal and vertical shooting orientations.
The lens hood can be retracted and hidden away when you’re not using the lens. Or, use the hood to guard against harsh light to prevent flaring and ghosting. You can achieve richer colours and deeper saturation when unwanted light isn’t entering the lens on the sides.

The Panasonic Lumix Leica Vario-Elmar 100-400mm F/4-6.3 Lens can be handheld at 400mm due to the O.I.S. but a monopod would be ideal.
A clear filter protects the front element of the lens from damage including weather sealing so you won’t be forking out costly repair bills. A polarising filter is an excellent addition to any lens to cut unwanted glare and reflection from your images and achieve deep blue skies in outdoor shots.
Fingerprints on the lens is bad news. Try an oil remover to easily clean off prints from sticky fingers.
