Ever since Fujifilm released the first interchangeable X-Series camera, the X-Pro1 in 2012, they changed what many of us thought a digital camera should be and how they should look. With this new system they were able to claw their way back into the digital camera market and have now created a system that is revered by many photographers (even those using other systems).
Today Fujifilm are continuing progression by adding in the X-H1 to an already stacked line up. Rumors have been flying around recently about what specs the X-H1 will have and we can now confirm the following new features will be included:
The processor and sensor have been borrowed from the X-T2 which is an extraordinary camera in it’s own right. It looks like the X-H1 with the added features will be directed more at the video oriented market and Fujifilm have given a bonus film simulation ‘Eterna’ which will be great to try out.
With Fujifilm being relatively new to the digital interchangeable lens market (excluding the few old DSLRs they created that were great cameras but did not even have their own lens mount), they are filling the biggest gap left in their system with the X-H1. This will create a full line up, starting from entry level cameras right through to high end video and still cameras with the X-H1 and X-T2 (with hopefully a X-T3 in the not so distant future).
The X-H1 is available now for pre-order here – we are offering free shipping on all pre-orders, with a deposit of $500. The ETA for the first shipment is early March, so keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for information as we receive it.
We cannot wait to see what stunning videos you create with this amazing camera from Fujifilm!
