With radio transmission, you’ll have complete two-way wireless control to shoot disconnected from the flash. Pair the speedlite up with the Canon STE3RT to work with flash units from a distance of up to 30 metres. Featuring a new wireless multiple flash system that communicates remotely, the radio waves have precise control over as many as five groups of flashes and a total of 15 individual speedlites.
The Canon Speedlite 600EX II-RT has more power over its predecessors. With a guide number of 60 metres at ISO 100, and a zoom flash head that covers a 20 to 200mm range, you’ll have absolutely no limits. With 2.4 GHz frequencies, this Canon Speedlite 600EX II-RT has no directional limitations. Physical obstacles won’t disrupt the wireless signals, and the radio transmission will prevent misfiring that can happen with signal interference.
Achieve lighting that is fresh and natural by utilising the bounce card and bounce adapter. Giving you greater control of the light, you’ll be able to achieve softer light, ideal for portraiture and studio photography. The wide panel brings in corner-to-corner distribution of light to perfect your shots.
With improved recycle time, you won’t be waiting to take your next shot. Capture photos quickly, even in intense action moments and time lapse shots. You’ll always be ready for the next moment, without waiting between shots.
The Canon Speedlite 600EX II-RT comes with colour filters that correct white balance. This will help you achieve much more natural looking photographs. Coming with a hard cover, you won’t need to worry about replacing it often. You can also add gel filters that give bursts of colour for cool or warm creative effects.
Take your creativity to a new height with sync modes. Try shooting in the high speed sync mode for awe-inspiring portraits. Or, why not try out a second curtain sync to create awesome long exposure motion shots.
The back screen is brightly lit with a dot matrix LCD so you won’t have a problem seeing, even in dim light or bright situations. Navigate the intuitive menu control with ease and improved visibility. It also has the added functionality to control flash functions directly from the camera menu.
You can pair this flash with absolutely any Canon EOS camera. Talk about no limitations. It has an AF frame to take on any of Canon’s signature range. This speedlite even works perfectly with the 61-point high density reticular AF found in the EOS-1D X and the EOS 5D Mark III.
