The Canon 600EX II-RT Speedlite can be paired with any Canon EOS camera.
We recommend pairing this device with the Canon STE3RT to maximise portability and wireless control function.
Pair the Canon 600EX II-RT Speedlite with the Canon STE3 RT transmitter to achieve off-camera flash.
Rechargeable batteries such as Eneloop or EneloopPro will be more economical over the long run, and more environmentally friendly. Because these batteries are designed to run on high-power devices, they will also provide a shorter recycle time.
Use Canon’s E-TTL (evaluative through the lens) EOS flash exposure system to easily get the optimal exposure.
To get soft, natural-looking light, attach the bounce adapter to the flash head to soften the light that’s emitted. Alternatively, try directing the flash head towards a white wall or ceiling, which will spread the light softly towards your subject.
Use the included SCF-E3OR1 filter to correct bluish flash illumination or SCF-E3OR2 to neutralise tungsten light.
