This camera comes complete with a camera grip (GR-V1), handle unit (HDU-2) and battery charger (CG-A20). With all these accessories, the Canon C200 Cinema Camera is ideal for filming features, documentaries and producing television, it’s also a great camera for journalists and event photographers.
Developed by Canon, the super 35mm CMOS sensor brings the most out of your 4K DCI recordings for high quality images. The 8.85 megapixel sensor supports 2K/HD video for superb reels and enables dual pixel CMOS autofocus to capture your moments with precision.
The dual DIGIC DV 6 image processors enhance your video recording with the extended capability to shoot in 4K UHD/50P MP4 and 4K DCI RAW Light. At 120 frames per second continuous shooting, the high frame rate in full high definition delivers cinema-level videos.
Utilising the single CFast card slot captured in DCI 4K 60P/50P, the Canon C200 Cinema Camera enables recording in Cinema EOS RAW Light format. This enables internal recording of a third to a fifth of the size of files in cinema RAW with the same grading. Shooting in RAW Light format maintains full resolution of RAW at a smaller file size.
The Canon C200 incorporates two SD card slots for recording 4K UHD and HD MP4 video. Shooting in MP4 UHD (3840 x 2160) 60P/50P enables longer recording times on versatile SD cards while maintaining high image quality.
Record in slow motion with FHD 120P/100P capability to capture the detail in fast action shots. High-speed recording of 120 frames per second gives more detail and definition in the visuals.
The built-in electronic viewfinder and LCD touchscreen gives you full view of your recordings in live view. The 4-inch touchscreen is removable if you want to use the EVF only. Touch-enabled, you can easily adjust your settings with the tip of your finger.
Fully compatible with Canon’s wide range of EF-mount lenses, the Canon C200 Cinema Camera has the potential to be used for a range of scenarios. With a full range of more than 100 Canon EF and EF-S lenses, you can get creative with your shooting.

No, this video camera doesn’t come with a built-in microphone. We recommend investing in a quality external mic for excellent sound quality. The Rode NTG1 is a great choice, with the Rode XLR cable to go with it.
This camera has 3 card slots taking a CFast Card for raw recording and two SD cards for MP4 and JPEG recording. Feel free to choose either CFast or SD cards based on your shooting requirements. We recommend a large size card to help deal with large video files.
Choose from Canon’s extensive range of EF or CN-E lenses. If choosing an EF lens, we’d recommend an L-series lens – Canon’s flagship range – to give you the best quality image possible.
