The Canon EFS 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM lens is compatible with EF-S mounts for Canon cropped sensor DSLR cameras such as the Canon 90D, Canon 800D and Canon 1500D. It is not compatible with full frame cameras like the Canon 6D or 5D Mark IV.
The EF-M mount adapter will let you mount the Canon 10-18mm lens on Canon EOS M series mirrorless cameras like the Canon M50.
Be sure to turn on the Canon 10-18mm lens’ image stabilisation to help reduce camera shake when shooting handheld. However, if you would like to be more precise with your photos, we’d recommend using a good quality tripod.
There are various filters you could try for unique effects in outdoor landscape photos. A polarising filter is an option, to help make skies bluer and manage glare. You could also invest in a neutral density filter if you’re wanting to do long exposures.
